GRADE 4 - SCHOOL SUPPLY LIST
2010 - 2011
Welcome to fourth grade! We are looking forward to meeting your child and having a great school year. Listed below are the supplies needed for fourth grade. Using a permanent marker, please label all supplies with student’s name before they are brought to school.
ÿ Large zippered pencil pouch (not a plastic box)
Inside the pouch, place:
ÿ Wooden pencils (not mechanical)
ÿ Eraser (either some pencil toppers or one large eraser)
ÿ Two broad tip dry erase markers, in black or blue
ÿ One clean sock to use as an eraser for white boards
ÿ One highlighter
ÿ Colored pencils (no more than 24)
ÿ Crayons (no more than 24)
ÿ Small covered pencil sharpener
ÿ Two glue sticks
Other materials needed:
ÿ Four composition notebooks (usually black & white)
ÿ Five book covers (Brown paper bags work well! If purchasing stretchy book covers, they will need to be jumbo-sized.)
ÿ Folder for music
ÿ Art shirt (optional)
- No Trapper Keepers or Binders, please. They are too big for the desks.
- Students do not need to bring any markers to school.
Donations for the Classroom:
ÿ Box of 24 pencils, wooden
ÿ Package of wide-ruled filler paper
ÿ Construction paper (12” X 18” white and
8 ½” by 11” colored)
ÿ Two large boxes of tissues
ÿ Two jars of antibacterial wipes (*We will need more later in the year.)
ÿ Two packages of 3” X 5” ruled index cards
Suggested Supplies for Home:
ÿ Addition/Subtraction and Multiplication/Division Flash Cards
ÿ Ruler
ÿ Package of notebook paper for homework
ÿ Pencils to replace ones at school throughout the year
